[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide grant writer services to the government authority located in Columbia, SC.
1. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in grant writing.
2. A bachelor’s degree in English, creative writing, communications or a related area.
3. Strong research skills and knowledge of information sources.
4. Excellent computer skills.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. The ability to study and understand programs and funding requirements of the organization.
7. Excellent knowledge of proposal submission and fundraising processes.
8. The ability to handle confidential matters with utmost integrity.
- The District seeks grant writing professionals/firms that are within a 200 miles radius of the District
office with the capability to provide services within the time frame as determined by the District.
The District may consider web-based professionals within North America for such services.
- 1. Study and understand the needs of both the agency in need of funding and the
organization providing the grant money.
2. Research grant opportunities from government and nongovernment agencies.
3. Collaborate with the Grant Coordinator to draft proposals and supporting documents based
on the funding requirements of the organization.
4. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Analyze, comprehend, and execute complex instructions.
6. Demonstrate excellent computer skills.
7. Submit proposals to the Grant Coordinator for approval by the established internal and
external deadlines.
(2) All question must be submitted no later than June 13, 2023.
