[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide executive recruitment assistance service to the government authority located in Fredericksburg, VA.         
- The city’s primary focus is on the director of public works position, but additional advice and assistance may be requested for other vacant city positions including capital projects manager, utility projects manager, and transportation projects manager.
- The Offeror shall meet with the appropriate city staff within two weeks of the Notice to Proceed to develop a better understanding of the duties and responsibilities of the position, the city’s proposed compensation and benefits package, and a general discussion of proposed requirements and qualifications.  
- The Offeror shall prepare for city approval one or more job advertisements for various publications, professional organization sources, or Internet postings, as may be appropriate.  
- The Offeror shall advertise, market, and recruit for the positions using relevant and appropriate publications and sources that reach beyond the city’s internet home page and publicly available web sites.  
- The Offeror shall review, interview, screen, and otherwise evaluate candidates in order to provide a long list of finalists to be considered of anywhere between five and twelve of the best candidates for City review.
- Professional competence of consultant and firm and key personnel, including a designated project manager
- Resumes of key personnel
- The office of the firm from which the majority of the work would be performed
- Current workload of key personnel and ability to take on additional consultation, evaluation, and field work when needed
(2) The contract will be one year.
