[*] Scope of Service:

Vendor needs to provide data center infrastructure managed services s that are inclusive of all services, technologies, strategies and models (on premise, colocation and cloud) for storage, network and compute infrastructure to support data and applications.
- Data Center Infrastructure Managed Services provides enterprise IT teams and administrator’s
visibility in the performance of an organization’s data center to ensure everything is running
efficiently and as expected. It includes monitoring and managing network performance, computing
storage and server performance, virtual machines, as well as power, cooling, and energy systems
feeding into the data center or maintenance and upkeep of all related data center equipment and
accessories.
a) The Contractor should understand the current infrastructure and application landscape and transform current environment in to a managed services solution.
b) The Contractor shall migrate all necessary hardware and software from its current environment to its own managed services solution.
c) Rather than full migration of all hardware and software, the Contractor may choose to leverage the District’s current environment and technologies and submit proposal that ramps up the migration to a managed services solution in a phased approach (i.e. as equipment is decommissioned, new technologies are needed, etc.)
d) In either case, all necessary installations and configurations are to be done by the Contractor and the Contractor has to propose a solution strategy to migrate within a specified downtime.  e) The Contractor shall ensure minimum downtime while performing any takeover of existing hardware and software and/or migration from the existing solution to a managed services solution. This should include migrating applications, databases and associated services. The Contractor should ensure quick and efficient migration. The service provider shall follow a detailed migration plan as submitted in its proposal.
f) The Contractor shall make available required staffing and resources for the successful migration to a managed services solution.
g) Contractor shall provide all IT equipment required to migrate to a managed services solution. Contractor may propose to leverage existing hardware or provide new equipment or other options.
