(1) Vendor needs to provide enterprise resource planning system
- The solution must include Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Human Resources
- Improve service delivery efficiency and effectiveness through data driven decision making
- Increase the City’s reputation and citizen satisfaction through improved service delivery
- Enhance the recruiting capabilities to ensure the City has the right workforce to support the City’s growth, strategic initiatives, and ongoing evolution
- Provide transparency to citizens on City activities
- Improve the staff’s efficiency and effectiveness through automation and intuitive technology
- Drive cost savings and innovation opportunities
- To support the City’s strategic direction, a solution must have the ability to produce efficient and timely reports to internal and external stakeholders, integrate business processes, and provide consistent corporate data across various users in multiple departments
- Multiple systems of record resulting in the duplication of data, complicating data availability, cross-checking, and reporting.
- Time-consuming data reconciliation processes and lack of visibility into disparate systems, creating inconsistent answers to the same questions.
- The inability to make data-driven business decisions due to the absence of aggregate data from a single integrated, reliable set of information.
- Increased resource effort spent on non-value-added functions.
