(1) Vendor needs to provide microfilm record documents digitizing project using scanning resolution at 300dpi in TIFF and PDF file format.
• Scan all film at 300dpi grayscale uncompressed TIFF; create multipage searchable PDF per issue named by YYYYMMDD.pdf
• Deliverables to include:
- full index and OCR
- All images rotated to upright/most readable position
• The newspapers are stored on 35mm microfilm rolls. OPL now desires to digitize its existing microfilm records into an industry standard digital format in order to reduce physical storage needs and create an easy to use, fully searchable, high quality digital archive.
(2) Approximately scanning quantity will be 577 reels (approximately 610,000 images total) of 35 mm
