Vendor needs to provide document scanning and data conversion services to administer and convert scanned pdf image files into a data file using optical character recognition (OCR) technology making them readily accessible through a network-based document management system.
- The Contractor shall utilize optical character recognition (OCR) technology to convert scanned trip ticket images into a database file.
- The Contractor shall retrieve scanned Trip Ticket files on a weekly basis from a secure file transfer protocol (FTP) site.
- The Contractor shall allow the optical character recognition (OCR) software to create a legible and accurate extraction of trip ticket data.
- The Contractor shall provide the file name reference in addition to an electronic pointer for each image used to generate records.
(2) The work volume will be 63,000 scanned trip tickets per month via the Secure File Transfer Protocol site.
