[*] Scope of Service:

Vendor needs to provide security services for parking garages to the government authority located in Waterbury, CT.
1. Rate should be quoted per hour per guard.
2. The Security Firm must provide appropriate uniforms for each guard (summer shirts, flashlight, winter jackets, hats, etc.).
3. While on duty, guards shall not leave the assigned ramp garage unless there is an emergency or the Parking Division Business Manager or Supervisor grants prior permission.
4. The Security Firm shall assign and assure that a supervisor reviews its guard personnel on a regular, unannounced, visitation basis.
5. Each guard must fill out a daily written report setting forth the duty responds and findings, etc. in a “month-by-month” logbook secured and maintained by the Security Firm at each garage. Each guard must set forth his/her name, date/time of tour, time of report entry and any and all written remarks as to observances while on patrol. Guards must complete a report entry (i) when he/she starts his/her tour, (ii) at least once per hour during the tour.
6. Security Firm Guard Duties
a. Fill out a written report in the aforesaid logbook
b. Patrol assigned garages, assist customers, assist attendants, turn off elevators and raise gate arms at the end of shift or when malfunctioning, and other such duties as requested or required.
c. Use the so-called guard monitoring system, electronic devices for registering or recording the guard’s attendance or presence at designated garage patrol stations of locations.
d. If asked, assist or escort an individual to his or her vehicle and wait until that individual gets into his/her vehicle and drives away.
e. Physically look into and around vehicles for any problems, such as broken glass, vandalism to vehicles, children in vehicles, security or safety issues, and shall immediately notify the ramp supervisor of any such observations.
