[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide equity opportunity review services to the government authority located in Pennsylvania.
- Educational Equity Action Plan, including strategies, action steps, and recommended key indicators to monitor
1. Engage in a systematic collection and examination of data to understand how policies and practices impact different subgroups of students
2. Identify institutional practices that produce discriminatory trends in data that affect students and analyze data in three key areas: programmatic equity, teaching quality equity, and achievement equity
3. Analyze qualitative data already collected by the District, including the results of a staff‐wide Equity Policy Survey and notes from Listening & Learning sessions conducted by the Acting Superintendent
4. Support the development of an Educational Equity Action Plan, as defined below.
5. Equity opportunity review process should include:
a. Listening sessions with district leadership;
b. Classroom and campus observations;
c. Focus group interviews with teachers, students and parents;
d. Reviews of school discipline policies and code of conduct;
e. Information provided on the campus or district website;
f. School climate surveys
6. The Educational Equity Action Plan shall:
a. Embed equity practices throughout the district’s educational system
b. Include equity objectives, strategies, and action steps that can be embedded in the district’s comprehensive plan
c. Include performance evaluations that are based on an instructional framework, which has criteria regarding the expectations of culturally responsive educational practices
(2) All questions must be submitted in written no later than February 13, 2023.
(3) The contract period will be for two years.
