Vendor needs to provide third party property access solution to provide an electronic real estate application management system that would support Amtrak in allowing application submissions, design reviews, document processing, payment processing and verification of property ownership.
- A successful solution would permit centralized property access for third party use.
- Reduce the time to execute the approval subprocess to 7-21 days from 30-90 days.
- Reduce the manual work required by all parties, especially real estate, to process approvals.
- A typical request today can take up to 40 hours of work for a real estate associate, plus the time to approve from other groups. Fifty requests are processed in a typical year.
- Reduce the risk of errors in the complex manual process that slows or invalidate process outcomes
- Increase the speed of permit delivery.
- Software stores application information in a database that can be used and updated by multiple departments and personnel.
- Applications will be submitted online via the Internet, eliminating the use of paper forms or emails.
