[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide special education software.
- Purchase Special Education Software that automates and supports the entire special education management processes.
- The System will support data collection and steps needed to optimize the delivery of special education services
- Create and manage legally compliant versions of the IEP and all documents used in referral, evaluation, review, and re-evaluation for special education.
- Automates the special education process for the district through a collaborative system. Utilizes workflows and notifications to streamline the process for staff and optimize instructional support
- Time-Saving Data Entry and User-Assistive Features (e.g. quick access to all features, quick data entry tools, intuitive interface, etc.)
- Provide an interface for special education administrators to analyze data and monitor compliance with applicable state regulations. Provides safeguards to help ensure that data is validated and mandated reports meet guidelines.
- Mobile app for staff
- Parent portal and parent and student communication features.
- Teacher have the ability to see special education plans and accommodations within one click from the class roster.
- Ability to not publish 504 plan to parents/teachers until approved. Tracking when the teacher and/or parent view 504
- Ability to manage Medicaid information and processes. Includes provider management, service management, Medicaid extracts, and reports.
- Ability to customize screens/views as needed to support district processes. Ability to create custom reports and queries that can be easily distributed to staff.
- Ability to log/monitor/audit user data access (changes made by user, date/time), and the ability to easily purge old log data.
- Ability to define and assign various levels of permissions. Ability to assign district, department, school, and teacher-level permission.
- The system must provide a suite of standard reports, provide the capability for building custom reports, and maintain those custom reports through upgrades
- Proven, secured interface to the District’s student information system, which currently is Synergy.
- Application is web-based and functions in a Chrome browser. Prefer that no plugins or software is required to be installed on the client machine.  
- Accounts integrate with Active Directory and the system supports Single Sign-On
- Ability to import historical records/data from our current IEP system, Frontline Enrich. Please describe options and possible migration plans
(2) The contract period will be for one year.
