(1) Vendor needs to provide web-based program to communicate recycling information.
- Create an App for Apple iOS and Android devices that will work on the following devices: All iPhone, iPad and Android models.
- Function for user to enter home address. City will provide database of pickup schedules for refuse and recycling based on addresses.
- App will incorporate a weekly collection calendar with the option for automatic notifications.
- Alerts for special collections.
- Reminders for special collections.
- Search tab for all refuse and recycling individual needs. (e.g. Batteries, bulbs, paint, food scraps, metal).
- Weather related alerts for refuse and recycling suspensions.
- Widget inserted into city website that simultaneously changes information between website and App.
- Ensure audio content has captions.
- Menus, links and buttons that are easy to differentiate from each other and navigate.
- Minimal blinking or flashing.
- Translate App content into Spanish at a minimum, all other languages welcome.
(2) All question must be submitted no later than January 20, 2023.
