[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide consulting services for parental engagement
I. Firm Experience:
● Business Tenure: number of years the business has been in existence
● Experience with K-12 education or government clients
II. Requirements:
● The respondent must provide capacity-building training sessions for school-based family engagement specialists and district personnel designated to support families and reframe family engagement efforts.
● The respondent must participate in quarterly Parent Ambassador Meetings.
● The respondent must attend MSCS Business Board Meetings to remain acquainted with District Initiatives.
● The respondent must be flexible to be available during day and evening hours.
● The respondent must explain a systematic process of maintaining the confidentiality of records, parents and student records, and data.
● The respondent must respond to the principal or school maintaining the designee within 48 hours (i.e., principal referrals, parent issues, etc.)
● The respondent must explain the referral system of connecting parents/students with needed wrap-around supports.
● The respondent must describe their ability to leverage partnerships with community entities and the court system for support services.
● The respondent must articulate methods to communicate progress to students, families, schools, and the school district.
III. Professional Development:
● The respondent must provide training sessions to familiarize parents and district personnel on state and local educational matters.
● The respondent must develop programs that support parents and alternative school students (i.e., reduce recidivism, increase parental engagement, etc.)
● The respondent must lead and conduct a series of training sessions for parents of Alternative School students who have visitation restrictions from their child’s school
(2) All question must be submitted no later than June 28, 2022.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
