[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide for audio visual upgrade project to the government authority located in Santa Barbara, CA.
- seeks a contractor to design, engineer and install an upgraded, state-of-the-art audio visual (AV) and video conferencing system for the Incident Management Room (IMR), the hub and largest room in the County’s Emergency Operations Center
- The current system’s configuration is significantly limited and inefficient, is not user-friendly, and is highly susceptible to functionality failures, which can adversely impact emergency readiness and response activities and government continuity efforts
- The selected contractor’s services will deliver a resilient, dynamic, and multi-modal AV system capable of meeting the County’s 24/7 critical information sharing needs
- Design, install and test AV and videoconferencing equipment, including any cameras, microphones, speakers, displays, cabling, user interface systems, and other miscellaneous items to allow interaction with other rooms within the EOC and remote/outside agencies
- Incorporate existing AV and video conferencing systems and infrastructure within the room and upgrade equipment where necessary to transmit and receive audio and video throughout the building and remotely;
- Provide the ability to select specific audio and video for each of the multiple screens (same content on all, some or all different) and avoid interference from other outputs;
- Be capable of supporting connectivity to future building expansions and system enhancements;
- Be able to seamlessly interface and support compatibility with major video conferencing systems such as Microsoft Teams, WebEx, Skype, Zoom, amongst others;
(2) An Optional Site Walk Thru will be held on June 24, 2022
(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than June 30, 2022.
