[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal

[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide to design, procure, install, test, operate, and maintain digital community kiosks (Kiosks) to provide information of interest to residents and tourists. Contractor shall provide the city with access to a cloud-based portal which shall allow the city to monitor Kiosk GPS location, uptime, use time, “apps” used, power draw, etc. Portal shall allow for remote monitoring capabilities with notifications automatically sent to the city for connection issues, necessary maintenance, etc. Portal shall provide options for reports and data analytics to improve the utilization and benefit of the data provided by the Kiosk. Users can access interactive, local maps and get directions to local points of interest, such as parks, museums, libraries, government facilities, public space art displays, etc. Multimodal transit information including, but not limited to, Mountain Metro Transit locations and schedules, bike lane maps, trail maps, and information on third-party transit providers.
• Users can find events, businesses, restaurants, and other information for the area immediately surrounding each Kiosk.
• Digital advertising for local businesses, national businesses with a local presence, and local non-profit organizations.
• Public service announcements and emergency information alerts.
• Content shall be available, at a minimum, in English and Spanish. Additional language options are desired.
• Cameras and system software shall allow for public “selfie” capability and interaction with a user’s mobile phone or social media.
• Ability to share information with a user’s personal mobile device via a downloadable app, or other means.
• Access for all – Kiosks shall be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and allow equal opportunity for use among persons with visual and/or hearing impairments.
• Contractor shall provide telephone technical support during normal business hours, Monday through Friday.
• Contractor shall provide a minimum one-year warranty to cover all service, parts, labor, travel, and on-site maintenance.
(2) A virtual pre-proposal conference will be held on May 21, 2021.
(3) All questions must be submitted no later than May 26, 2021.
(4) Contract period will be for two years.
