(1) Vendor needs to provide table top scanning electron microscope with an integrated energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS) system for use in geosciences, chemistry, and biology to the government authority located in North Dakota.
• Tungsten source
• Accelerating voltage range of at least 1–30 kV
• Includes both secondary electron (SE) and backscatter electron (BSE) detectors
• Resolution of at least 5 nm (SE imaging)
• Live magnification up to 300,000 X
• Has both high-vacuum (< 0.0001 Torr) and low-vacuum modes
• Must have X-Y-Z motorized stage axes with at least 40 mm X and Y travel, and at least 55 mm Z
• Can handle sample size up to 120 mm (diameter) and 50 mm (height)
• Includes computer hardware and software needed for operation
• Includes on-site installation and initial training.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than April 1, 2021.
