[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide title IX advisors services to the government authority located in Manhattan, KS.
- to provide the professional services of persons serving as Advisors, as defined and described for Title IX hearings,
- advisors will assist a party through the hearings process, including meeting with the party prior to the hearing, review evidence and the investigative report, attending a prehearing conference, and attending hearings at which they will conduct cross-examination of witnesses and the other party,
- Advisors may also advise a party regarding university policy and procedures, and help them navigate university support services and resources if needed. Advisors may be provided by the party, or appointed by the university if the party does not have an advisor for the hearing,
- Advisors will be part of a pool of individuals who agree to serve as an advisor to the Complainant or Respondent in a hearing arising from a formal Title IX or OIE complaint,
- Advisors will provide support, information, and guidance to parties throughout the prehearing, hearings, and appeals. At a hearing, advisors will conduct cross-examination of the other party. Advisors may be appointed by the university for a hearing if a party does not have an advisor of their own choosing, and must be present for hearings to conduct cross-examination.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than February 26, 2021.
