[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide broker services for excess liability insurance to the government authority located in Louisville, KY.
- Assist in identifying and analyzing its loss exposures on an ongoing basis
- Recommend types of insurance coverages, policy limits, policy terms and program adjustments for current coverages including but not limited to excess liability and terrorism coverage.
- Assist in completing and submitting insurer applications for all coverages.
- Place all required coverages.
- Assure insurance policies are placed with reputable and financially responsible insurers.
- Consult with personnel with respect to liability and indemnification provisions.
- Provide or obtain answers to insurance coverage questions.
- Provide benchmarking/best practice surveys for agencies similar.
- Provide insurance certificates and endorsements as required.
- Monitor changes on an ongoing basis in the financial ratings/status of carriers used in program and advices on changes that may negatively impact the program.
- Assist with risk management questions as they arise.
- Assist in the filing of claims and obtaining funds from insurance carriers in the event of settlement/judgment,
- Maintain accurate claims data and provide status reports as required.
- meet with personnel to review insurance program.
- Provide other services customarily provided by insurance brokers.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than March 11, 2021.
