(1) Vendor needs to provide consultative services is to be focused on improving, simplifying, and expanding participant-direction to the government authority located in Ohio.
- to improve waiver services while advancing self-direction and community integration.
- improved waiver to provide increased flexibility, autonomy, and choice for with developmental disabilities and their families
- attending workgroup meetings (virtual), providing information, and facilitating discussions to help achieve consensus
- providing information pertaining to budget authority and employer authority with a focus on the benefits and barriers associated with co-employment, common law employment and an agency with choice arrangement
- providing information and strategies to incorporate the principals of participant direction into the person-centered planning process
- assisting staff with the development of a draft framework for the role of a financial management service in the new waiver.
