[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide patient monitoring system.
- system will be used in a Spinal Cord Injury Unit with the intent of preventing patient bed pressure injuries such as pressure ulcers and to aid clinical staff in proper patient positioning, repositioning and turning schedules for patients in long term care
- system will be used to manage, and alert staff of patient turn requirements
- capable of remaining under patient for extended periods of time from days to weeks
- mapping and monitoring is required to be constant with the ability to record review historical pressure indications, readings, and patient repositioning by staff
- System must have the ability to record at least 2 weeks of data and download that historical pressure information to an external device for analyses and research purposes
- System must provide a touch screen, real-time displays that clearly identifies pressure reading with clear notifications of time remaining and time passed since patient’s scheduled turning
- integrated tablet software must be configurable, so clinical teams can adjust patient turn intervals and adjust peak pressure visual indicators per patient requirements.
