[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals

[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide child support enforcement legal services for Title IV-D cases to the government authority located in Jackson, MS.
- Provide and accept applications and referrals in accordance with Federal guidelines, including from non-custodial parents.
- Locate parents when necessary and provide appropriate documentation.
- Timely open and appropriately close all cases in compliance with Federal regulations.
- Verification of existing order.
- Intake and client interviews.
- Verification of address and employment.
- Preparation of all paperwork necessary for the case, on the system, at all stages of the case.
- Preparation of any paperwork necessary for the case throughout the life of the case.
- Seeking agreed orders.
- Establishing paternity, current support, medical support, reimbursement judgments.
- Work with the current genetic test contractor to train employees, obtain samples, and track results.
- Coordination of any appellate work with agency which includes, but is not limited to, seeking MDHS approval prior to filing any appeals.
- Enforcing obligations (including but not limited to child support, spousal support, medical support, reimbursement judgments, etc., regardless of program type).
- Full case management (including but not limited to financial account management, arrears calculation, case reviews, etc.).
- Operating service points for customers to be met in person and to submit applications.
- Communicate with state and staff and forward case and customer information when requested via e-mail or other electronic transmission for further processing.
- Employ trained staff to handle child support inquires and casework. Cross training staff is encouraged.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than December 15, 2020.
(3) Contract term will be five years.
