[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal

[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide inmate healthcare and associated services census and utilization information, noting the use of on-site medical, behavioural health, nursing, dental, and prescription services and off-site facility, emergency transport, and professional services to the government authority located in St. Louis, MO.
- The medical professional conducting receiving screenings will triage prisoners in order to assure that those with evident and immediate health care needs are screened first, so that referral for acute mental health needs, current medications, and other urgent conditions can be addressed as quickly as possible,
- Documentation of current illnesses and health problems, including but not limited to any chronic health conditions, presence of infectious disease, history of mental illness, medications, special health requirements, and vital statistics,
- Behavioural observations, including state-of-consciousness, mental status, suicidal ideation and whether the inmate exhibits signs of alcohol or drug abuse or active use,
- Notations of body deformities, trauma markings, bruises, ease of movement, etc.
- Condition of skin and body orifices, including bodily infestations,
- The Provider will use a standardized medical history form that has been approved by the city to record the information from the receiving screening, this medical history form will be included in the health record of the inmate,
- The behavioural health component of the initial health assessment must be conducted by a qualified behavioural health professional,
- The oral health component of the initial health assessment will be conducted by a dentist or qualified health care professional trained by the dentist,
- The oral health component of the initial health assessment will include a dental history and the charting of decayed, missing, and filled teeth with subsequent referrals for dental care and services.
(2) A site visit will be held on May 30, 2019.
(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than June 10, 2019.
