(4) Service Provider shall describe how they will perform follow-up services for resolution and reimbursement of denied claims.
(5) Service Provider shall confirm its ability to receive copies from National Government Services, Inc. (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) of the remittance advice reports detailing the payments made to us for billing of resident Part B services from Medicare.
(6) Service Provider shall describe how they will submit an invoice for payment for Services provided based on the remittance advice.
(7) Service Provider shall confirm their ability to review our record procedures and shall describe how they will provide us with information to enhance efficiency of recordkeeping to meet Medicare regulations.
(8) Service Provider shall confirm their ability to follow New York State Public Health laws and Federal HIPAA regulations regarding confidentiality of patient records.

[D] Scope of Service:
(1) Service Provider shall undertake, through ethical and lawful means, the billing and collection of the our Emergency Medical Service (EMS) fees, with particular attention to the Consumer Protection Act, Texas Debt Collection Act, Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and all other laws applicable to this type of activity.
(2) Service Provider shall adhere to and implement current privacy standards of HIPAA requirements and follow national electronic data interchange standards and use national standard codes. Service Provider shall adhere to and be aware of the current billing requirements and contractual restrictions dictated by the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services, Texas Medicaid and Healthcare Partnership, the HIPAA and the Texas Worker’s Compensation Commission.
(3) The proposal will provide the following services: invoicing, statement processing, filing claims on behalf of patients with Medicare, Medicaid and other third parties, collection of all emergency medical service fees, and the establishment of monthly payment plans or alternative payment arrangements, when necessary, for patients financially unable to make one full payment. In addition, the proposal should include a detailed summary of all delinquent collections processes including but not limited to phone contact, dunning letters, third party debt collection, and credit bureau reporting.
(4) Service Provider shall suspend the billing and collection efforts on any account upon written notice to do so by our authorized representative.
(5) Service Provider shall not have the right to refuse to bill and collect any emergency medical service fee.
(6) Service Provider shall maintain adequate records of the services performed. All records will be made available for inspection and audit, without prior notice, by us.
(7) All standard billing, collection, and account status reporting formats will be in a format acceptable to us. Service Provider’s proposal shall include required reports and the desired schedule for furnishing each.
(8) Service Provider shall be able to receive billing information from us electronically.

(4) Timeliness of Work Produced: Outpatient coding shall be completed at 125 visits per coder in an 8 hour work day. Total coding outsourced should be completed no later than September 30, 2010.
(5) Reporting: Service Provider shall provide a weekly productivity spreadsheet for total visits completed.
(6) Meetings/Conference Calls: Service Provider shall attend meetings or conference calls scheduled by the project officer to address areas of concern and exchange information to ensure consistent high levels of professional services. The project officer shall be responsible for scheduling and coordinating all meetings and conference calls.

The campaign shall include assertion that Police responses to false alarm are a costly waste of taxpayer money and major public safety concern because false alarms divert police officers from real emergencies and delay the response time for more critical calls.

(5) Bill third party (WCB, ICBC, etc.) and follow up and collection of accounts receivables;
(6) Providing regular reporting on specified data including encounter record data, MSP billing data and third party billings, rejections and resubmission rates.
(7) Inform us of any long term third party bad debts which we then collect internally.
(8) Work with physician groups to improve billings as decided with Corporate Director, Medical Affairs or delegate, who is provided with adequate information to support appropriate revenue accruals and bad debt transactions at the end of each accounting period

b) All reasonable and appropriate efforts are taken to maximize revenues

- Develop a system for the treatment, follow up and documentation of infectious disease exposure. Provide initial follow up for 100% of reported, suspected exposures.
(4) Immunizations Services
- Develop a program of immunizations for personnel selected by us.
- Coordinate with the us on the purchase of immunizations. We will provide the funds and specify the immunizations that will be purchased.
- Immunizations shall include, but are not limited to: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, TWINRIX, TDaP, PPD, Seasonal Flu, Pneumonia, and any vaccine recommended for first responders by the Center on Disease Control.
